FIRST BONDED WAREHOUSE IN IMPERIAL VALLEY
Our Founders Maria Elena Rosas and Bertha L. Rosas started Express Trucking INC. DBA International Inbond Logistics in 1994 in Calexico California, making it the first Bonded Warehouse in the Imperial Valley. At the time, Bertha was a city Council Woman, she was deeply involved in the Calexico Unified School District and was President of the Rotary Club. Maria was Operations Manager for the largest paper manufacturing plant in Mexicali Baja California. Maria had already worked on big projects as head of the import / export department for several companies, earning her reputation with both corporate businesses & U.S. Customs and Border protection.
They both realized that they could provide the tools and services to clients such as National Chain Department Stores, Importers, Corporate Businesses and Government Agencies by working closely with them to meet their needs. Whether it be by training and aiding in acquiring their certification as a bonded warehouse, coordinating shipments, transportation, and deliveries both domestic and those arriving from overseas.
